WARMING UP FOR GOLF Whether you're going to the range or to play a round, you should warm up your muscles AND your nervous system. The best way to accomplish this is with an active stretching routine before golf. This is more productive than slow, static stretching. By warming up dynamically, the brain accumulates set patterns of movement - muscle memory of one's golf lessons - that are activated when needed. A warm-up which is movement based and golf-specific better prepares one to swing the golf clubs.
